Lindau is a city just a short trip down the lake from Bodenseehof, and is near the Austrian border. You'll want to take your camera when you go for a visit, because the city center is located on an island - surrounded by a bay which is ringed with mountains. The short train ride from Bodenseehof will drop you off right on the island.

On Lindau island you will find shopping, cafes, and coffee shops. Try renting a paddle boat and go cruising around the harbour!
