As director of Bodenseehof, I am responsible for leading the center in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. I am also heavily involved in preaching and evangelistic youth programs.

It's our desire at Bodenseehof that people can set aside 6 months of their lives to meet the living, indwelling Christ in a vital way. I have a special place in my heart for the bible school ministry as I was a student myself and know from experience the potential of this time. I am whole-heartedly sold on the Bible school ministry. What a thrill to know Him as your Life!

I attended Bodenseehof as a student in 99/00 and then spent three years studying at Philadelphia Biblical University. Now I enjoy seeing Christ work through the students first hand and have been blessed with personal growth as well.
April Volle
Bible school secretary
since 2002
I was a student in 98/99 and that was the first time I heard the truth that Christ wanted to live His life through me. That was the first step of the great adventure in knowing Him and His life. I'm thankful to be a part of the ministry here and proud to be a mom!

Hi, It's very nice to work with people and it's even nicer to work with such a variety of people: all kinds of ages, all kinds of nationalities and all kinds of backgrounds. And the nicest thing of all is to be allowed to watch Jesus at work in people's lives as they come to our school, retreats, or weekly groups. This job is never boring.
Dan Powell
Resident Assistent

I was a student at Bodenseehof in 2005-06. During that year I got to know the person of Jesus Christ for the first time and He changed the course of my life completely. Now Jesus has brought me back to Bodenseehof as the guys' RA and I am really looking forward to being used by Him as He makes difference in the students' lives this year.

Assistant Cook

Being a Swedish chef at a international setting is nice, everyone knows you even if they don't know your name.
I've been working here as a cook since September 2003, before coming to Germany I worked at the Torchbearer school in Sweden for a few years and I attended as a student at Capernwray Harbour in Canada.
After coming to Germany I met my wife Silke and together we have our son Elias. A bible verse that is very important to us is Prov. 3:5-6;
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight."
One of the things that I enjoy the most about my job is to watch our students and guests grow during their time here, spiritually of course... :-)

Hello my name is Gaby, I am happily married and we have 2 teenage kids. It is a joy for me to be a personal bridge for our coming students, before they arrive at Bodenseehof. I long to help them discover the care of our Good Shepard in the same way that He helped me.

I am very thankful and think it is really great that I get to work at Bodenseehof. My job is in the house and I enjoy using what I was trained to do here. Even though the staff comes from different countries and churches, everybody knows what really counts: that Jesus is the centre - and this is what makes this place here so special.
Nils Rüttger
Finance Manager
since 2008
After having worked for an accounting company in Hamburg for several years I am employed at Bodenseehof since 2008. My main responsibility here includes finances (particularly accounting, financial statements, taxes and donations). “We beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (Bible, 2. Corinthians 5:20-21)
Robert Keller
Head Cook
since 2001
I'm just practicing and learning what it means to have a call from the Lord, Jesus Christ, and to serve Him.
Steve Volle
Dean of Students
since 2002
It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to be involved in so many different things at Bodenseehof. When I was a student here, God used the time to help me want to obey him. Now, I wish for others to have life changing encounters with Jesus during their time here as well.
Thomas Taul
Youth Ministries, Outreach
since 2002
After being able to attend Bible school in 2001/02, I was asked if I would be willing to work here…
I am still amazed about how JESUS is able to change people and how HE is at work here. Therefore I enjoy working here in the areas of youth ministries and Bible school outreaches.
Ute Spindler

If you like to read or eat candy, then I would be the right person to talk to - I am responsible for our bookshop and kiosk. Or do you have questions concerning the free social year program at Bodenseehof? I would love to try and answer them for you. Work at Bodenseehof is exciting, challenging and it never gets boring! I enjoy working together with other people who love Jesus.

I was also a student at Bible School (`02 - `03) and learned a lot about what it means to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and let him live through you. My responsibilities at Bodenseehof are very multisided (publications, kids- youth work, office ...) and I really enjoy working together with the staff here and to watch Jesus do His work at Bodenseehof.
Waldemar Schmolla
Head of Maintenance
since 2000
'The Lord is my shepherd.’ He leads me much better than I could plan it myself. It is a privilege to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and I enjoy the ministry doing various tasks with wood, water, and electricity, inside and outside. It is great to see how guests are built up, encouraged and strengthened in the word of God. All honour and thanks belong to our Lord and God.
Kristi Brockerman

I was a student in ´03-´04 & then was back for 6 months in the summer of 2006. I'm currently the girls RA and will be the ''Mädchen für Alles'' (ie- work with the children's & youth programs as well as help with some of the practical duties around here) this summer. I'm from Seattle and am absolutely thrilled to be living and working in Germany again! I love seeing and experiencing God at work among His people here and am blessed to call this place my home.
