Peter and Gaby Reid
Director / Registrar
The Lord Jesus has been to us exactly that which we can expect from Him every day: He’s been faithful. Peter attended Bible School in 1979 and Gaby’s confirmation group was visited by a group of Bible School students in 1978. We both experienced the freshness of the risen Christ through these meetings. Because Bodenseehof has been such a significant part of our walk, we count it a privilege to serve together here and see Him meeting others as He has us. If our Lord can do so much good in our lives and our children (Katharina and Christian), He is certainly willing to do so for others. He is alive and well today. “Faithful is He who calls you, He also will do it.” (1Thess. 5:24)

It is truly our pleasure to have the opportunity to be a part of the exciting things that are going on here at Bodenseehof! When we were students here many years ago, God used the time to draw us each into closer fellowship with Him. Now, our desire is for others to have life changing encounters with Jesus during their time here and to be launched afterwards into significant living in their home contexts.
I’ve been working and living at Bodenseehof since 2008. Originally I come from Ahrensburg close to Hamburg, where I’d been working for many years at a tax consultant company. At Bodenseehof I’m mainly responsible for the finances (bookkeeping, financial statements, taxes and donations).
"We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2. Cor. 5:20-21)
Hello! My name is Hanna Maisack and I work in the office. I´m in charge of the reception and conference bookings. After working in a bookstore I went to Monavale Homestead, the Torchbearer Bible School in New Zealand. Looking back on my time that I’ve had at Bodenseehof so far I´m amazed how Jesus is drawing people to him and encouraging others in their faith. I love working here and am excited for the continuous adventure of life with God and at Bodenseehof.

Hello! My name is Tabea Messner and I am very excited to be a part of the Bodenseehof-family. I knew Bodenseehof already from being a guest and also helping with different conferences throughout the year but now I will be here full time. I was trained in child care and now I have the privilege to pass on the love of Jesus Christ to kids and youth. My desire is that the children will see Jesus Christ through the storys, the songs and our example and that they would realize how good and how great He is!
Public Relations, Bookshop
Hello! My name is Ruth and I come from southern Germany. I very much like getting to know different people, countries and cultures and so I really enjoyed having the opportunity to travel the world in the last years due to my former job, privately and on mission trips.
I am absolutely enthralled and awestruck by how Jesus guided me all the way … until Bodenseehof. He will continue to be my Guide and my loving Provider and I am looking forward to every day that is ahead and everything He has in store for me.
„Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will make your paths straight.“ Proverbs 3:5-6 - this is what I have experienced.
I'm just practicing and learning what it means to have a call from the Lord, Jesus Christ, and how to be sanctified and used by Him.
I always enjoyed cooking or watching other people cook. However, I did an apprenticeship as restaurant operations trainee. But working this job, I realized that I am living a life that doesn’t meet my view of what life should be. So I decided to take a year off to gain a new perspective and direction. I spent most of this year at Bible School at Tauernhof in Austria. I was able to get to know Jesus in a new way and decided to live my life differently. This time with Jesus.
Now my hobby has become my profession and I am enjoying it.
I can experience God’s presence and work in many different ways doing every day’s chores or in moments that I feel like I am reaching my limits and don’t know how to go on.
My hope for all the guests and visitors (also on the internet) is that they would be able to experience Jesus – no matter if it’s for the very first time or again in a new way.

Outreach and Youth Work
Having both gone through the Bible school program as students and working with konfis on sing teams, we are grateful that the Lord still has us here! Our prayer is that we would make much of Christ as we share our lives - and most importantly HIS - with the students, konfis and guests at Bodenseehof.

It is a privilege to live as a servant of Christ. Whether that be in the context of the workplace, school/university, or “full-time ministry” all praise and glory belong to the Lord Jesus. He is able to take a life filled with sin and darkness and transform it into a life filled with His own LIFE! Not only has He done this with me, He is continuing to do this day by day to all who will receive Him.
“Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.”
I'm thankful to be alive and thankful to belong to Jesus!
Head of Maintenance
'The Lord is my shepherd.’ He leads me much better than I could plan it myself. It is a privilege to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and I enjoy the ministry doing various tasks with wood, water, and electricity, inside and outside. It is great to see how guests are built up, encouraged and strengthened in the word of God. All honour and thanks belong to our Lord and God.
Hello! My name is Arnd Bildstein and I come from Friedrichshafen. Growing up here as a child and also through my teenage years, I used to visit Bodenseehof when there was an event going on. After finishing school and the subsequent apprenticeship as metal worker, I spent almost 10 years on mission trips with the organization ‚Youth with a Mission‘. I was mostly working as a photographer and youth worker during this time, since I had been studying photograpy and outdoor education before. Some years ago, being back home in Friedrichshafen, there was a time of re-orientation which allowed me to intensify the contact to Bodenseehof, again. As a result, I am now working here in the maintenance team.

I was a student at Bodenseehof in 2014/2015 and I am blessed and privileged to be able to come back to serve. I feel honoured to be a part of such an amazing ministry, and I am excited to see what He will do in and through me in the days and months to come! The Lord is very good!
2 Corinthians 12:9 - "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

I was a student at Capernwray Hall in 2013. After school I came to work at Bodenseehof in the housekeeping department for the summer. I was thrilled when I got the phone call to come back to Bode to be a part of the Bible School Team. I am excited to see how each student builds and molds their relationship with Jesus Christ. My wish is that God may use my life as a testimony to his goodness. I pray that each student will leave knowing that they have a personal Saviour who is the way, the truth and the LIFE.
Bible School Team
The opportunity to come and join the Bible School team here at Bodenseehof has been a direct blessing from the Lord's hand. After graduating from Cairn University studying Business Administration and the Bible in 2012, I have worked summers with a leadership and apologetics camp called Worldview Academy. Europe, and Bodenseehof, in particular have always been on my heart and mind however as family members and friends have experienced and been a part of this place where God does a special work in the lives of students and guests. To be here is to be a part of a community dedicated to Christ, His word, and serving and growing together for His Name's sake. I give God thanks and praise for all He is doing!
Bible School Team
Hello! My name is Rahel Wächter, I am 22 years old and since December 1st 2014 I am part of the kitchen team of Bodenseehof. I come from a town called Ruit in Southern Germany, where I used to attend a small Methodist church. After finishing school, I ehlped out in the housekeeping department for one year at a well-known bible conference center called “LAHOE”. This was a very meaningful time for me as I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior during that time. The next three years I received professional training in housekeeping at the “Deaconess Headquarters” in Aidlingen. Following my training I worked for almost a year at a Christian conference center called Forggenhof, and I experienced God’s blessings in many ways during this time. Now here at Bodenseeho, I am very excited to learn what God has in store for me.
Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
Hello, I'm Elisabeth. Originally I am from a small town called Petershagen in Nordrhein-Westfalen. After finishing High School I moved to Capernwray Hall, England for 10 months to work as a volunteer and attend Spring Bible school as a student. During this time God revealed himself to me in a completely new way as the Father, Son and Spirit. This encounter completely changed my life. Ever since then I have the desire to serve him with my whole being. I love to work with and for students from all over the world and I'm excited to experience these dynamics at Bodenseehof where I will be working in the kitchen.
A new time is dawning.
With Mimi in the house!
I´m very excited to be here and be able to use my gifts and talents so that our guests feel welcome and comfortable. At the same time I´m courious about what´s awaiting me here. But with Jesus on my side it will work out well.
During my childhood and growing up here in the Bodensee area, I have learned a lot about Jesus. In order to be working at Bodenseehof now, it however took me a journey to the other end of the earth:
In 2013 I decided to take a break from my life here in Germany and went to New Zealand to do ‚work & travel‘ there for a year. After some months, I surrendered my life to our Lord Jesus Christ. From this point on, I wanted to let God direct my every step which brought me to Capernwray bible school 6 months later. Having been brought there, I decided to spend 6 more months in New Zealand and to attend bible school. During this time, I very quickly realized that I wanted to devote all my life to serve Jesus Christ.
I am very happy to serve here at Bodenseehof now and also very much looking forward to the continued adventure God has in store for me, here.
„For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways“, declares the LORD. „As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways highter than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.“ Isaiah 55:8-9
